Nokia One Goes Public!
My MA Degree Project Nokia One featured in many blog sites. Amazing to see how fast the information can spread in internet. I just put the project in my website. And... boom! It was all over... In many languages, including English, German, Russian, Korean... Although the information given about the project was not always accurate in some of the sites it still delightful to see, as a designer, folks enjoying the project :)

Won IFOR Logo Competition!
We won IFOR Logo Competition! IFOR (Intelligenta Fordon Off-Road) is a research center for developing off-road robotics at Umeå University. See the logo in "Branding/Graphics" section in my portfolio. (Teamwork project by Ozgur Tasar & Mine Danisman Tasar)

Venture Cup
Back from Luleå, in the north of Sweden. Our project (Teamwork by Ozgur Tasar and Imon Deshmukh) has been selected as one of the nominees for Venture Cup Nord First Round Prize . Unfortunately I can't give more information due to the confidentiality issues. We will continue with the second round if we can find time in january-february when we will be quite busy with school work :)

Electrolux Competition
Back from New York. The project "FooZoo" is local winner and international finalist in Electrolux Global Design Challenge 2004 competition (Teamwork project, designers: Ozgur Tasar, Karl Forsberg). International final was held in New York. We couln't win the final but it was still cool. Very well organized... No need to mention how amazing the "Big Apple" was... Back from London. We visited several companies including IDEO, Tangerine and Pentagram and attended Design Week events. Yes, the British Museum, red phone boxes, double decker buses, and all that stuff...

Tendence Lifestyle Fair in Frankfurt
Came back from Tendence Lifestyle Fair in Frankfurt. Met lots of people from all around the world. Huge organization! There were around 3700 exhibitors, 96000 visitors. Talents section hosted 22 young designers/companies. Unfortunately didn't have much time to check Frankfurt out.
